Company Chameleon outdoor touring update

Company Chameleon premieres Witness This at Brighton Festival next month. Commissioned by Without Walls, Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival and Brighton Festival and drawing on the personal experience of choreographer and co-Artistic Director Kevin Edward Turner, Witness This explores mental illness from the perspectives of both sufferer and onlooker.

Witness This joins the company’s repertoire of original dance works specially made for outdoor settings. Each one features the company’s distinctive movement style inspired by urban and contemporary dance forms.

The Happiness Project spring tour dates announced

Didy Veldman is back on tour with her new company Umanoove next month. A beguiling investigation of society’s endless search for fulfilment, her production “The Happiness Project” is performed by four superb dancers and composer/violinist Alexander Balanescu. Watch the trailer

Nora Invites, the hugely successful evening of dance by Nora (aka Flora Wellesley Wesley and Eleanor Sikorski), is back on tour this season, featuring works by acclaimed duo Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion, renowned French choreographer Simon Tanguy and the self-styled grand dame of un-disciplined dance Liz Aggiss:

Brighton Festival announces programme

Brighton Festival announced their programme today, featuring Company Chameleon and The Hiccup Project:

Company Chameleon present the world premiere of Witness This as part of the Weekend Without Walls events in Easthill Park and East Brighton Park on 13 & 14 May.

The Hiccup Project will present It’s Okay, I’m Dealing With It and May-We-Go-Round? at The Spire in Brighton on consecutive nights, 24 & 25 May.
