Company Chameleon’s choreographic investigation of relationship codes is given fresh impetus this spring when performance duo Kevin Edward Turner and Anthony Missen collaborate with top female performers Elena Thomas and Gemma Nixon. Two become four in a new double bill, Pictures we Make, premiering at The Lowry on 14 February.
With choreography by Goddard/Nixon (2012 Place Prize Semi-Finalists) and Missen/Turner, Pictures we Make sees a return to Chameleon’s roots in contact improvisation and partner-work after the dazzling theatricality of Gameshow. Expect an evening of exceptional physicality in which stories and experiences from the long shared history of the performers have them navigating questions about love, intimacy, obsession and disappointment.
