Body of Light is a contemporary dance solo created by Darren Pritchard using readily available consumer technology to translate movement into beautiful projected imagery, in much the same as a painter uses brushstrokes. Performed by dancer Adam Russell Body of Light is a collaboration with Production Designer Marcel LeNormand, a digital artist from Guernsey.
Body of Light is a fully tourable and self-contained work, with an extended stay and play session following each performance so the public can make their own video projections. It is suitable for arts and non-arts spaces, is festival-ready and has applications in education and health settings.
