Wendy Houstoun is back on the road next month with her critically acclaimed solo Pact with Pointlessness.
“She asks the big, existential questions” Guardian ****
” … if Houstoun hadn’t chosen a career in dance theatre then she would have given Victoria Wood and Julie Walters some serious competition” Dance Tabs Pact with Pointlessness is Wendy’s latest solo, for which she won Critics Circle National Dance Award 2014 for Outstanding Female Performance (Modern).
A mix of comedy, spoken word and performance, it offers a frank demonstration of how it feels to be knocked sideways by death, then renegotiate and carry on. Funny and moving in equal measure, Pact with Pointlessness is all or nothing, do or die.
