Folk Dance Remixed brings together dance and music from folk traditions from England and around the world and blends them with contemporary street dance styles and hip-hop beats to create a unique, inclusive, high energy fusion especially for outdoor settings. The company’s current production Step Hop House is a thirty-five-minute performance for six dancers and three musicians around a 12′ Maypole. The company also offers pure participation packages in the form of Ceilidh Experiences and Maypole Workshops to suit different settings and budgets, and is the UK Performance Partner for Craig Morrison‘s light night artwork Beacon of Hope.
